Reporting copied work

Updated 30 September 2026

If a book on Kpnovel copies work you own, report it at kpnovel.com/copyright.

It has its own form rather than going through general contact, because a copyright notice is a sworn statement. You will be asked to identify the work, to say what was copied and where, and to sign three declarations, one of them under penalty of perjury.

What happens next: a person reads it and answers within two working days. If we act on it, the content is hidden while we investigate and the author is told who sent the notice. That last part is not optional; the law requires it, and the form says so before you sign.

A false notice can make you liable for costs. Be specific about what was copied and where your version can be seen: a notice we cannot check is a notice we cannot act on.
