This agreement is between Rinik Tech Ltd ("Kpnovel", "we") and you, the writer. It covers work you publish on Kpnovel. Please read it; it is short on purpose, and every line of it matters.
You write original fiction and publish it on Kpnovel under a pen name. You decide what to write and when. Nothing here obliges you to write a particular number of words, chapters or books, and nothing here stops you writing elsewhere.
You keep the copyright in everything you write. You are not selling us your story.
What you give us is a licence: permission to publish, display, translate, promote and distribute your work on Kpnovel and in our own marketing, for as long as the work is on the platform and for a reasonable period afterwards so that readers who have already paid to unlock chapters keep access to them. That licence is non-exclusive unless we agree otherwise with you in writing for a specific book.
You can take a book down. Doing so does not remove it from readers who already unlocked chapters, and it does not reverse payments already made.
A pen name you choose and propose is yours. If you leave, it goes with you.
A pen name Kpnovel assigns to you as a member of staff belongs to Kpnovel, along with the books published under it. If you stop writing for us, that name and those books continue with whoever takes over, and readers following the name keep following it. You will always be told clearly, before you write a word under it, which kind of name you are being given. If this agreement is the only thing you have signed, your names are your own.
Work that is not yours to publish. Work that sexualises anybody under eighteen, in any form, including where the characters are described as older. Work whose purpose is to harass a real person or incite violence against real people. Pornographic writing-explicit, anatomical sexual description, or a scene written to arouse rather than to tell a story. Content that breaks the law where we operate, or the rules of the app stores we distribute through.

We review chapters before they go live. We may decline or remove work under this section, and we will tell you why.
Readers unlock chapters with stones, our in-app currency. You earn a share of what readers spend on your chapters, plus any bonus rates we publish. The current rates are shown in your Studio under Earnings and we will tell you before they change.
We pay monthly, in arrears, once your balance passes the minimum payout shown in your Studio. You are responsible for your own taxes. You are not our employee under this agreement, unless you have a separate contract of employment with Rinik Tech Ltd.
You confirm the work is written by you and that you have the right to publish it. If you use AI tools as an aid, the finished work must still be substantially your own writing and your own judgement. Passing off somebody else's work, a person's or a machine's, as your own ends this agreement immediately and forfeits unpaid earnings on the work concerned.
You may stop at any time, and so may we. If we end your access, we will tell you why, and you keep any earnings already due to you.
Sections 2, 5 and 6 survive the end of this agreement, for the obvious reasons: readers keep the chapters they paid for, we still owe you money we owe you, and a false claim about authorship does not stop mattering because somebody left.
If we change this agreement, we will show you the new version and ask you to accept it. Until you do, the version you accepted is the one that applies to you. Every published version keeps its number and stays readable, so what you agreed to can always be looked up.
Rinik Tech Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17452502, registered office London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
Wherever you live, that does not take away rights you have under your own country's law which cannot be given up by agreement. If any part of this agreement turns out to be unenforceable where you are, the rest of it still stands.
