Claimed by the Bikers

There were seven locks between Collin Pryce’s bed and the street, and she counted every one of them on the night she finally ran.

She takes a Greyhound out of Atlanta and leaves her abusive deputy husband sleeping beside his gun. Sewn into the lining of her bag is the one thing that could bury him. She ends up in Copper Ridge, Tennessee, a dying mining town where nobody asks to go, which is why she picks it. The only job going is behind the bar at the Anvil, the clubhouse of the Iron Saints.

Yul Dawson, the club’s quiet vice president, spends his nights rebuilding the motorcycle his father never finished. He doesn’t push and he doesn’t ask. Slowly, Collin starts to believe there are men who wait to be asked. But Darren Pryce is patient, and he was trained to hit what he aims at. When he finds her, the Saints will have to decide how far they’ll go for one of their own.

Twenty-four years later, someone starts leaving three black roses on a young paramedic’s stairs. The past Copper Ridge buried has come back up the mountain road.
